• John Green
• Israel Harrington is buried at Old Elmore Cemetery
• Benajah Wolcott is buried at Wolcott Cemetery

War of 1812

• Claude Couture, 1777-1840, Pvt, CPT Lacroix's Company, Michigan Territorial Militia, is buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Carroll Twp.

Indian Wars

Civil War

• Richard Barnes, ~1841-?, unknown service, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Christopher C. Battin, son of Lewis and Lucy(nee Russell) Battin. Enlisted as Pvt Co. I, 41st Ohio Veteran Volunteer Infantry 28 Feb 1864. 27 May 1864 reported as "killed in battle", Pickett's Mill, GA.
• Shubal "Henry" Battin, son of Lewis and Lucy(nee Russell) Battin. Enlisted as Private, Co. "F", 128th Ohio Volunteers on Aug 22, 1864. By this time his younger brother, Christopher, had been killed at Battle of Picket's Mill, GA. Henry mustered out 13 Jul 1865 at Camp Chase, OH.
• Abraham Bell, Jr., son of Abraham and Sarah Trump Bell, brother of Pvt. Joseph Bell, 41st Ohio Volunteers. Enlisted as a Pvt., Co F, 1st Washington Territory Volunteers in Aug 1861. He and his brother Richard Bell (Bell Fish, Co.) went overland to Calif. Gold fields in 1860. Richard returned to Port Clinton after 6 mos. "Abram" remained in Placerville(Hangtown), CA. With the outbreak of the Civil War he enlisted at Alcatraz Island in newly formed 1st Washington Terr. Infantry. His service was spent protecting settlors from Indians in Wash Terr. until discharged in Jun 1865. From there he returned to Ottawa Co.
• James K. Bell, son of Abraham Bell and his second wife, Hannah E. Knight. Enlisted May 2, 1864. Served as Corporal in Co., K, 139th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Discharged 20 Aug 1864.
• Joseph Bell, Pvt. Co. I, 41st Ohio Volunteer Infantry, of Erie Twp, Ottawa County, OH died 1862 of disease Nashville, TN. Initially buried in Nashville City Cemetery, then reinterred at Nashville Veteran's Cemetery. Born Erie Twp, Ottawa County, OH 1842 to Abraham Bell and Sarah Trump
• Henry Bolander, 1834-1890, Pvt., Co. K, 128th Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• William L. Boose, 1831-1894, Pvt., Co. G, 111th Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• John H. H. Carter, 1840-1906, Pvt., Co. B, 72nd Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Samuel Couture, 1829-1865, Pvt, Co. I, 41st OVI, is buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Carroll Twp. Samuel died of smallpox within two weeks of returning home after his discharge.
• Francis (Frank) Couture, 1829-1888, Pvt, Co. G, 100th OVI, is buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Carroll Twp. Frank was the twin brother of Samuel Couture.
• David Couture, 1840-1896, Pvt, Co. C, 41st OVI, is buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Carroll Twp.
• Isadore Couture, 1837-1928, Pvt, Co. A, 183d OVI, lived most of his life in Carroll Twp. He died in Toledo. Isadore, David, Samuel and Frank all were sons of Claude Couture, a veteran of the War of 1812.
• William Crompton, ?-?, Pvt., Co. C, 3rd Ohio Cavalry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Dan Davenport, 1832-1883, unknown service, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Conrad Fillmore, ~1822-1897, Pvt., Co. G, 123rd Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Henry Fink, 1818-1891, Cpl., Co. B, 67 Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Mathias Gernhard, 1819-1888, Pvt., Co. E/F, 72nd Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Johann Hehmann, 1826-1882, unknown service, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Joseph Kaiser, ~1844-?, Pvt., Co. I, 65th Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• John C. Louis, 1834-1911, Pvt., Co. K, 52nd New York Infantry (1864-5), is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Ezekiel Mott, 1805-1880, Pvt., Co. F, 72nd Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Jacob S. Pickard, 1840-1921, Co. E, 65th Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.  He was born August 4, 1840, and died February 4, 1921.    He enlisted in the 17th Indiana Volunteer Infantry in 1861 and served for 3 months.  He also served with Co. E, 65th O.V.I. which he entered in August 1862 and served until the fall of 1863.  Following recovery from his illness which led to his discharged from the 65th in 1863, Jake reinlisted with the 129th Ohio Volunteer Infantry in 1864 and served out his time. He is said to have been involved in the battles of Cumberland Gap and Shiloh and was sent to Nashville as a teamster for the government in the fall of 1864. Then, in 1865, Jacob went to Graytown, Ohio to work in the sawmill of Walker & Harman. In 1875 he began working in the stave factory of Joseph Traults at Graytown, Ohio where he remained for 4 years. He then farmed for several years before taking up the barber's trade and became the proprietor of the only barber shop in Rocky Ridge, Ohio. 
• John W. Salzmann, 1841-1919, Sgt., Co. E, 55th Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Washington D. Smith, 1837-1922, Cpl., Co. I, 21st Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Silas M. Teachout, 1831-1902, Pvt., Co. G, 123rd Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• Chesney Vandyke, ?-?, Pvt., Co. F, 72nd Ohio Infantry.  He married Elizabeth Craiglow on October 24, 1847.  They were residents of Clay Township. 
• Jacob Vandyke, 1848-1941, Pvt., Co. G, 78th Ohio Infantry.  He was born in Clay Township and died in Rothbury, Kent Co., Michigan.
• Everson Wainwright, ~1842-1877, Pvt., Co. I, 21st Ohio Infantry, is buried at Union Cemetery, Elmore.
• Cornelius M. Welch, 1834-1917, Pvt. Company G, 100th Ohio Infantry Regt. is buried in Willow Cemetery, Oregon.
• David N. Wetmore, 1836-1934, Co. K, 21st Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.
• William Woolcutt, 1840-1877, Sgt., Co. K, 100th Ohio Infantry, is buried in Old Elliston Cemetery.

• Felix H. Hostrup, 1890-1929, Pvt., Co. B 31 Machine Gun Battalion Burial, died in Randers Denmark.
• Christ Petersen, 1893-1986, Cpl., American Expeditionary Forces, is buried in Lakeview Cemetery.
• Leonard J. Petersen, 1888-1943, Cpl., National Army Training Battalion, Provost Guard Company, Sherman, Ohio, is buried in Lakeview Cemetery.

World War II

• Kenneth Knopp, 1932-1967, US Navy, is buried in Elliston Cemetery.
